SafeHandlingSheet
For horizontal lifting
SafeHandlingSheet is a sheet used for horizontal lifting for repositioning of a user in bed without loading the carer. SafeHandlingSheet is used together with a ceiling or mobile lift. The sheet features sixteen lift straps, eight on each side of the user, with three alternative lifting loops for optimal adjustment to the user and the transfer situation.
The loops of the SafeHandlingSheet are attached to a regular sling bar and when the repositioning is completed, the lift straps are conveniently bedded in under the mattress or placed in the pockets on the sides of the sheet.
SafeHandlingSheet is made of polyester net. The sheet can be left in the bed, since the material is both resistant to wear and airy to lie on.
SafeHandlingSheet
(SafeHandlingSheet, disposable) is also available in a strong, disposable material which is disposed of after use instead of being washed. This prevents the spread of multi-resistant and other types of contagious bacteria and viruses.
